Healing Activity October Drop-In Group
Stretch & Strengthen Workshop
This workshop will include demonstration of a routine - using your own body to exercise and strengthen muscles, along with instruction on how to properly stretch. Strengthening and stretching can increase flexibility, improve balance, reduce stress, and help coordination. Instructor Nicki D’Atellis is personal trainer and distance runner. She received a Certificate for Health and Fitness, Safety and Intervention from Berkeley, CA and completed her undergraduate degree at Kent State University in Theatre and Physical Education. She is NASM Certified and is a Trainer at Reebok Sports Club in NY, as well as with clients in their homes.
When: Tuesday, October 20th, 6:00 pm & 7:30 pm
Who: Survivors of crime and their allies. Allies include supportive friends, family, and service providers. 18+ years of age required.
Where: Safe Horizon, 50 Court Street, 8th Floor, Brooklyn NY.

What: Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a towel.
