Don't Let Right-Wing Scare-tactics win against women's lives

The National Organization for Women

Don't let scare tactics win!
Anti-choice protesters decided to protest at NOW's National Action Center today.
Right-wing extremists from the American Life League -- a group with ties to the Catholic church and the notorious Operation Rescue -- announced they would be here on the 37th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the landmark Supreme Court decision which guarantees women's constitutional right to make their own reproductive health decisions.
But harassing our staff and trying to block the entrance won't intimidate us. Will you help us fight back by making a contribution today?
And join us in celebrating the anniversary of Roe. NOW chapters around the country -- like Witchita, Kan., Santa Fe, Ariz., Minneapolis, Minn., Erie, Penn. and Washington, D.C. -- are holding rallies and speakouts.
The effort to chip away at abortion rights has never been more intense -- but we won't be bullied into backing down. We stand stronger than ever in our commitment to ensure women's access to the full range of reproductive services, repeal the Hyde Amendment and prosecute those who commit murder and other violence in the name of their religion. Support NOW's work today.
For justice and equality,
Terry
