In conjunction with Cynthia MacAdams’ exhibition, Feminist Portraits, 1974-1977, a panel discussion on The Third Wave of Feminism organized and moderated by feminist activist Liz Abzug will take place on February 11 from 6:30 to 8:30pm. Panel members include poet and performer, Anne Waldman, award-winning actress and director Lee Grant, Jerin Alam of the National NOW Young Feminist Task Force and Jehmu Green, former president of Rock the Vote and an advisor to Hillary Clinton's 2008 Presidential campaign. The panel discussion will be preceded by a poetry reading by Anne Waldman and a dance performance by a member of the Yaa Samar! Dance Theatre. The exhibition was featured in The Village Voice and runs through February 27. The panel discussion is sold out.

Timothy Greenfield-Sanders’
