Caroline Firestone is notable for her deep commitment towards rebuilding and redeveloping Afghanistan. She has spent the past eight years helping the Afghan people take significant steps to help put their country on the road to recovery and freedom.
Her new book, Afghanistan in Transition captures the spirit of Afghanistan through photographs and reflections from her time spent working with women, children, doctors, musicians, farmer, teachers, organizations, and from our American soldiers.
