Thu, 3/4: MTA protest in Manhattan

Can you join us tomorrow in Manhattan for a major rally against MTA fare hikes and service cuts?

At 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, the Working Families Party will be protesting along with NYC students, seniors, transit advocates, Transport Workers Union members, and commuters -- just before the MTA Board holds a hearing on proposed fare increases and service changes.

If you can make it, just click here to let us know.

Where:
Fashion Institute of Technology
7th Ave and 27th St., Manhattan

When:
Thursday, March 4 at 5:00 p.m.

We're going to demand that the MTA, Mayor Bloomberg and Albany to find a way to fund public transit without cutting our service or jacking up fares. Since it's right before the hearing, this will be a big opportunity to show the media and politicians how outraged New Yorkers are.

Click here if you can join us -- and please forward this message to any friends who can come, too.

If you can't be there, you can still help out: sign our petition to the Mayor to save the MTA, and ask all your friends to sign, too --

Thanks,

Bryan and the rest of the Working Families team
