Loving Our Bodies, Changing the World: 2010 National NOW Conference in Boston

2010 National NOW Conference: Boston, MA

National NOW Conference in Boston, July 2-4, 2010

Join NOW this Fourth of July weekend when we celebrate our feminist independence in Boston, Mass., at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Towers.
Action-Packed Weekend
The 2010 National NOW Conference will include a summit on health and body image issues, which led to this year's theme, Loving Our Bodies, Changing the World. We're planning an action-packed weekend, with engaging speakers like renowned author Susan Douglas and executive director of the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health Silvia Henriquez; special recognition will also go to the Boston Women's Health Book Collective. On Saturday night, singer/musician SONiA will perform. Stay tuned to our conference website to learn more.
Submit a Workshop Proposal
Why just attend workshops at the conference when you can organize one? If you're interested in contributing a workshop proposal, you can prepare and submit it by April 26. We have limited slots this year, so really knock our socks off! More details and the submission form are online.
Register for the Conference
Register online NOW for the conference. Sliding scale registration is available to all NOW members, and non-member rates start at $35 for interns and students.
After you register, don't forget to book your hotel room! The conference will be at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Towers, and currently you can book a room through the NOW group rate. But hurry, they're going fast!
For those requesting childcare, accomodation assistance, and alternative housing, the deadline to register online is June 2! Regular online registration closes June 22.
