Wed, 6/23: Rally to Keep NYC Walmart Free

Keep NYC Walmart Free!

New York City is one of the last remaining major cities in the United States without a Wal-Mart and with good reason. The company's lengthy history of labor violations and gender discrimination is frightening. Wal-Mart employees face poverty level wages and awful health insurance plans that force them to rely on welfare and tax-payer subsidized health insurance. Wal-Mart lowers the standard of living for working families. New Yorkers deserve quality jobs and opportunities to flourish within their communities. Join NYCC, allies, and elected officials in our rally to stop Wal-Mart from moving in to NYC!

Every voice counts, so click here to RSVP.
