Thu, Oct 21: Join NOW-NYS PAC & other progressives on conference call with Eric Schneiderman

On Sunday,October 17,the National Organization for Women-NYS PAC voted to endorse Eric Schneiderman for the office of New York State Attorney General.

The Working Families Party and Citizen Action are hosting a conference call and virtual meeting with progressive activists and allies across the state. Our candidate for Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and WFP Executive Director Dan Cantor are featured speakers. We'd like you to join us on this call.

With just a few weeks before the election we need to focus our base and coordinate our efforts. We want to hit 200,000 votes and we need to be organized.

There is overwhelming evidence that shows personal endorsements are easily the most powerful means of persuasion in an electoral campaign. So while the opposition is busy putting up lawn signs, wel be organizing our supporters to turn their cell phone, email account and Facebook page into weapons of social justice.

Because of the technology we're using for this call, even with hundreds of people there will be opportunity for small group discussion and large group Q&A. There will be both a phone and internet component to this call, so we strongly encourage people to call in while in front of a computer with internet access. If you cannot do that, it is okay, you can still participate with just a phone.

The call will begin at 8:45pm this Thursday, October 21st.

We encourage you to forward this link to people you think might be interested in joining. Every participant needs to register individually to get their own call in number and PIN.

Thank you. We hope you'll join us this Thursday.
