Tue, Nov 16, 1pm: Come to the City Council Hearing on Crisis Pregnancy Centers!

Show your support for bold new legislation to regulate crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs) in New York City by joining NARAL Pro-Choice New York at the New York City Council's public hearing on Tuesday!

Last month, we were proud to stand with members of the City Council as they announced this important legislation. Now we need you to help get it passed by showing your support at the Council hearing next Tuesday, November 16.

New York City Council Public Hearing on CPCs
November 16, 1:00 pm
250 Broadway, 16th floor, Manhattan
RSVP to David Benzaquen at
dbenzaquen@prochoiceny.org

The bill will help ensure that every woman who walks into a CPC knows whether or not the center provides comprehensive pregnancy counseling options, including abortion and birth control, whether she will in fact be seeing a medical provider, and that her personal, private information will be kept confidential. Read more about the bill.

Anti-choice activists will surely attend the hearing to demonstrate their opposition to this bill, so it's important that pro-choice New Yorkers come out to stand up for women's access to accurate, unbiased, and comprehensive information and services.

In addition, if you or anyone you know has had an experience at a CPC in New York City and is willing to testify at the hearing about this important issue, please email Rachel Cordero today.

Join us and help show the City Council that pro-choice New Yorkers support this critical bill!

For choice,
Sabrina Shulman
Political Director
