NOW President Terry O'Neill to Speak in New York City This Weekend

Join NOW President Terry O'Neill to rally for justice this weekend in New York City. We're counting on a strong turnout of NOW activists at these important events.

On Friday, Terry will speak about the economic status of women in the U.S. and how we need jobs, not cuts. The National Action Network is organizing rallies for jobs and justice in 25 cities simultaneously across the nation.

What: Rally for Jobs and Justice

Who: National Action Network, National Organization for Women and allies

When: Friday, Dec. 9, at 6:00 pm

Where: Harlem State Office Building, 163 W. 125th St., New York City

That's not all!

Terry will also speak at the Stand for Freedom march and rally this Saturday. The NAACP is organizing this stand against right-wing attacks on voting rights. The effort to impose voting restrictions in the U.S. disproportionately affects women, students, seniors, people of color, immigrants and individuals who live in low-income communities.

Who: NAACP, Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, National Organization for Women and allies

When: Saturday, Dec.10; march begins at 11:30 am; rally 12:30 - 4:00 pm

Where: March steps off at Koch Brothers office at 61st St. and Madison Ave., New York City; Rally takes place at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, 224 East 47th St., between 1st and 2nd Avenue (across from the United Nations), New York City

See you there, and don't forget to bring your NOW rounds!
