Act fast: National NOW Conference online registration re-opened by popular demand!

June 19, 2012
I can't believe it -- after all the planning and organizing, the 2012 National NOW Conference is less than two weeks away! Will you be joining me in Baltimore, Md., June 29-July 1? I sure hope so, because this is an incredible opportunity for the national officers to connect with the grassroots of NOW, for our members to network with each other, and for those new to NOW to get a feel for what we're all about.

Due to popular demand, we have re-opened online registration -- but it's only open until Thursday at noon, so please register NOW! If you miss the deadline, you can always register on-site at the conference, but pre-registering will save you time.
Our line-up of speakers this year is truly amazing. You will be inspired by fabulous feminists, including Vagina Monologues playwright Eve Ensler, reproductive-rights advocate Sandra Fluke, "Godmother of Title IX" Dr. Bernice Sandler, civil rights leader Tamika Mallory, Native American women's health activist Charon Asetoyer, LGBT electoral politics expert Sarah Reece, among many others. Read more about all the conference speakers.
With the 2012 elections just months away, and the War on Women showing no sign of letting up, it is critical that we inform ourselves and strategize on key feminist issues. This year we also have a Mothers and Caregivers Summit and a track of workshops about modernizing NOW's structure. We just posted descriptions for all our breakout sessions -- so go ahead and check out all the hot topics we'll be covering.
If you're still undecided, spend some time exploring our conference site and check out the full agenda. I am confident you will come away from this year's conference energized and ready to take on the world.
Remember, online registration is only open for a limited time -- it expires on Thursday, June 21, at 12:00 noon EST -- so register NOW. If you miss the deadline, you can always register on-site at the conference hotel.

See you in Baltimore NEXT week!
Yours in Equality,
