Ask President Obama to protect women's health

I am thrilled to let you know that thousands of your fellow activists have already emailed President Obama.

We need to Save the Senate

Dear Young Feminists and Allies Virtu,
There is one silver lining to the Supreme Court's brazenly anti-woman decision in Burwell v. Hobby Lobby: women and men around the country are quickly turning their anger into action.
We're asking President Obama to issue an executive order ensuring that all federal contractors who provide a group insurance plan comply with the contraceptive mandate in the Affordable Care Act. We want the president to make crystal clear that the U.S. government will not do business with those who discriminate against women. Make no mistake -- withholding basic health care like birth control from women is gender bigotry.
There is too much at stake to stop now. Take action with us today!
Thousands have already taken a stand with NOW against the Dirty 100 - the nonprofits and for-profit corporations that sued the U.S. government demanding permission to strip birth control from their employees' health insurance plans.
The vast majority of people in this country agree that all employers should have to comply with the health care law's birth control coverage requirement. To be clear, that's all employers -- no exceptions, exemptions or accommodations for religious extremists. Unfortunately, bowing to political pressure, the Department of Health and Human Services created exemptions and accommodations for supposed religious beliefs - a misguided policy that the U.S. Supreme Court seized upon in explaining its atrocious decision.
It's time to gain back lost ground. Take action and ask President Obama to issue an executive order protecting access to contraception for all employees of federal contractors!

For women's lives
