Our Volunteers Are Thousands Strong

The spirit of change is growing ... beyond the five boroughs. We're excited to announce that our grassroots group has spurred volunteers into action in several communities, as far as Westchester County. In fact, we're getting so big, we've decided to embrace ... well, change. That's why we're redesigning our website to make political organizing easier for you. In the coming weeks, watch for a user-friendly site at http://greaternycforchange.org with social networking features, better information, and an updated look and feel. Watch for more updates to come!

Thanks to a Great Activist

Dr. Nina Agrawal, a long-time leader of NYC for Change, is leaving to pursue other opportunities. We're sad to say goodbye, and want to thank her for her leadership. Nina volunteered for the Obama campaign, and became one of New York's most influential leaders to emerge in the post-election grassroots movement. For her inspiring words at the Times Square rally; her rapid mobilization of local grassroots aid for Haiti; and for her constant, exemplary vision, we thank her. We wish her the best in her continued endeavors!
