TAKE ACTION! The International Violence Against Women Act NEEDS YOUR HELP!

V-Day joins
Amnesty International USA,
Women Thrive Worldwide and
Family Violence Prevention Fund in strong support of the International Violence Against Women Act (I-VAWA). This is the first comprehensive piece of legislation in the United States aimed at ending violence against women and girls around the world and would consistently incorporate solutions for reducing violence against women into U.S. foreign assistance.
ATTEND: Congo Documentary Pushing The Elephant Screenings in NYC and LA
The
LA Times calls the film "heart-wrenching but ultimately uplifting," and
Variety says "[t]he strength of
Pushing the Elephant lies in the way it brings this larger-than-life inspirational figure into the everyday domestic realm, where activism becomes a function less of heroic destiny than of conscious choice, open to anyone."
