Help Protect Wall Street reform

Organizing for America
"I think it ought to be repealed."

John Boehner -- the man who would become Speaker of the House if Republicans win this fall -- said that right after Wall Street reform passed the House.

It's pretty much the same thing Republicans say about health insurance reform, except now they're also saying it about the strongest consumer protections Congress has passed since the Great Depression. We can't stand by while the Republicans try to repeal it.

If we're going to protect this and other important victories, we need your help getting Democratic voters to the polls this fall. Helping the President's allies win in November is the best way to prevent Republicans from returning us to the failed Wall Street-friendly policies of the past.

On Tuesday, September 7th, OFA volunteers are getting together in New York to help build momentum and get folks to commit to vote.

Can you join us?

Here's what we're doing in New York:

What: OFA volunteer voter-contact event

Where: OFA Office
25 East 21st Street (Between Park Ave. S. and Broadway) 4th Floor
New York, NY 10010

When: Tuesday, September 7th
6:00 pm

Yes, I can make it.

No, but I want to help.

If you can't make that event, see if there's another one near you.

Securing Wall Street reform was a hard fight, but we did it together -- and we won. Now, with 61 days left to the November elections, we need to make sure we preserve that victory and keep fighting for more change.

You don't need any prior organizing experience to participate, just a desire to learn how to make an impact on the political process.

Please RSVP now to join us in New York:

Thanks for all you do,
