On Friday, help us honor the anniversary of Roe v. Wade by sharing
your concerns about choice for 2011 given the anti-choice gains in the
states and Congress.
Our initiative is called Blog for Choice Day, and it’s a powerful,
personal way to get pro-choice bloggers and people talking about
choice on one of the most important days surrounding a woman’s right
to choose: the Roe anniversary.

speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Rep. Joe Pitts is in
charge of a panel that oversees many women’s health programs, and the
freshmen class in the House has 79 anti-choice members.

Your thoughts can take any form. Write a blog post, update your
Facebook status, send an email to your friends, or Tweet. It’s your
choice. All that matters is that you talk about being pro-choice and
what’s at stake this year given the political realities. Oh, and
please tell us you plan to join us!
By working together, we can get pro-choice Americans thinking about
how important it is that we protect a woman’s right to choose. Writing
a blog post or updating your status really can change hearts and minds
– especially when we all work together.
Share with us what you’ve written so that we can show the level of
support we have.
Thanks again for inspiring me!
