Gun Laws Teach-In: Common Sense Changes that Will Save Lives

Hosted by Greater NYC for Change, the American Friends Service Committee and New Yorkers Against Gun Violence will be leading a teach-in about how the Tucson shooting may have been avoided. NYAGV Deputy Director Colin Weaver will share information on state and federal bills, such as Microstamping , Gun Show Loophole (federal) and Large Capacity Ammunition Feeding Devices Act (introduced to the House on 1/18 by Rep. McCarthy (D-NY)). Pizza will be provided.

Health Care Briefing on the Affordable Care Act
